But that doesn't include Good Friday or Christmas Day. Any shops in the CBD can open between 11:00am and 5:00pm on a public holiday too. Petrol stations can open any day of the year with a special. Under the new rules, SA shops will be able to trade 24 hours a day Monday to Friday, 12am to 9pm on Saturday, and 9am to 9pm on Sunday. The exemption will begin on Saturday and finish on Sunday.
