Arguably Walsall’s premier entertainment venue, the Grosvenor G Casino is situated slightly to the west of the city centre on the road out to Wolverhampton. Another of Grosvenor’s modern, purpose built casinos, it won’t win any architecture awards but inside feels fresh and airy. Part of the Bentley Mill Way retail park there are plenty of other facilities nearby and the casino is easily reached from a number of areas.
Less than 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of Walsall along the A4148 or the A454, the casino is also just quarter of an hour from Wolverhampton and around the same distance from West Bromwich. Birmingham International Airport is half an hour down the M6 and, with ample free parking onsite at all times, getting to the casino is a doddle. It can be reached on foot from Walsall but a taxi may be a better option to cover the two miles or so from the train station. In terms of overnight accommodation there are a surprising number of choices all very close to the casino, with the Premier Inn (M6, Jct 10), the Holiday Inn Express Walsall, the Village and the Holiday Inn Walsall M6, Jct 10 all within hopping distance of the tables.
